50 Cent… one of the best rappers

The real 50 Cent’s name is Curtis James Jackson. 50 Cent was born in South Jamaica, July 6 1975, he haven’t got sister or brother.

Curtis started drug dealing when he was 12 years old. After leaving drug dealing, just before starting his rap singer career he was shot and struck by nine bullets during an incident in 2000 year. Maybe that helped him in his rap career.

Soon 50 Cent released his album Guess Who’s Back?

In 2002 50 Cent was discovered by rapper Eminem and then signed to Interscope Records.

Thanks to Eminem and Dr. Dre, who produced his first major commercial successes, Curtis became one of the world’s highest selling rappers.

In 2003 50 Cent started his own record label G-Unit Records, which signed many successful rappers. Some of them are Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck.

50 Cent also have and an acting career, appearing in his semi-autobiographical film “Get Rich or Die Tryin” released in 2005,  “Home of the Brave” in 2006 and “Righteous Kill” in 2008.

50 Cent have many awards and good ranking positions. He was ranked as the sixth best artist of the 2000-2009 by Billboard magazine. Curtis James Jackson also was ranked as the 4-th top male artist and as the 3-rd top rapper just behind Eminem and Nelly. 50 Cent is also ranked as the 6-th most successful Hot 100 Artist of the 2000-2009 decade. In the same year range his album “Get Rich or Die Tryin” was ranked as the 12-th best album, but “The Massacre” album was on 37-th place.
