YoungBloodZ consists of J-Bo( Jeffrey Ray Grigsby was born on October 4,1977) and Sean P (before was known as Sean Paul but latter on changed to avoid confusion with same name of Jamaican reggae dancehall artist)( Sean Paul Joseph was born on March 7, 1979) are American Southern rap pair from Atlanta and Georgia.

At Decatur’s Miller Grove Middle School, they met and then began Attic Crew with some more friends.

They were sign by LaFace Records, and were best known for there singles “85 South” (2000) and “U-Way”(1999) which also featured Chris Streng and Big B of OutKast.

Not being around for nearly two years they made a comeback with “Cadillac Pimpin”, which was a reasonable hit. But YoungBloodZ met with chief success with “Dam!” which was produced by Lil Jon, which charted to number 4 on the BillBoard Hot 100 and is still their top 10 hit till today.

They returned after 3 years with “Datz Me” which featured Young Buck, a member of G-Unit. Their 2nd single Chop Chop was released from their third album Ev’rybody Know Me which was produced by Scott Storch.

On June 1, 2006, they were arrested for weapon and drugs charge in Atlanta with members of their associates. YoungBloodZ by no means had any trouble with law before this arrest. In late May 2007, all their charges were dismissed when they attended the hearing.

Sean P have made many appearances in hit tracks like “Snap Yo Fingers” by Lil Jon’s, “You Should Be My Girl” of Sammie’s and Cherish’s “ Do It to It”.

Sean P is working on a solo album which would be released in early 2009 under Cornerstore Entertainment/Asylum/WMG. “I’m a Hoodstar” is the first official single which is produced by CP Hollywood.

YoungBloodZ are also working on their forth album Bad Influence which is to be title. In Late October 2007, their first single was scheduled for release on radio. The was supposed to feature Busta Rhymes and Jacki-O.
