Yung Joc Biography
Jasiel Robinson, born 12 April 2, 1983 is famously known as Yung Joc which is his stage name. He was nominated as American rapper for Grammy Award. Yung Joc is gifted with a son. The rapper have talked a few times about his son in his songs.
Yung Joc has featured in a song by Danity Kane – Show Stopper and Call U Out, which is Cassie’s album track. It was rumored to be linked to rapper Young Jeezy, but it is not. With a gross of approximately $10 million he was listed on “Forbes’ richest rapper list at number 20 in 2006.

Russell “block” Spencer discovered Yung Joc when he gained recognition in Atlanta through “ I now You See It and It’s Going Down”. New Joc City was Yung Joc’s debut album which was released in 2006. It was charted on the Billboard hot 100 at #3. Nitti was the producer of this single. On Youtube a video was released. And then his 2nd single “I Know You See It” numbered at 17 in top 100. Yung Joc’s third single “1st time” was not that successful. Marques Houston featured in this song and Trey Songz was added in video version. Marques Houston, Boyz n da Hood and many others made a guest appearance in his album. By selling a million copies in America, it is certified as platinum.
His 2nd Album - Hustlenomics
Yung Joc was featured on many other artists singles including T-Pain’s “ Buy U a Drink”, Lil Boosie’s “Zoom” and Danity Kane’s “Show Stopper”. Hustlenomics was Yung Joc’s second album which was released on August 28, 2007. Jim Jones, Trick Daddy, Jazze Pha, The Game, Bun B and Gorilla Zoe were on the guest appearances list.
Yung Joc’s 3rd Album - Mr Robinson’s Neighborhood
Mr Robinson’s Neighborhood, which is Yung Joc’s 3rd album is planned to be released around 2009 with Swagg Team Entertainment underneath Jive Records. His legal name is referred as title of this album.
Yung Joc’s Business Deals
He owns a Sunglass line company named “Caudio St. James” will be making its debut soon and he even owns two automobile allied companies. Sunglasses line will be managed by Yung Joc and his father. He is also said to have Swagg Team Entertainment through Jive Records. Chicago group Hotstylz will debut through this label which will be there first single “Lookin Azz Nigga”.
Christian Influences
Yung Joc appeared at Exodus tour event on March 23, 2008. There he gave his acknowledgment about being Christian. He said that he was not tying to be there as a preacher other than God is real in his life. Corey ‘CoCo Brother” sponsored and organized this event, they even hsot a radio show known as “The Spirit of Hip-Hop”, who tries to promote Christianity through gospel music and rap.
